R.I.P. De'Andre McLendon
I remember him in a much more positive light, sad what life's hard times can do to an individual.

SPRING, Texas - Two people are dead including a young homeowner after a shoot-out in a gated community in Spring.
Harris County Sheriff's investigators say 24 year old Djuan Jones was returning home in the Cypresswood Lakes Sub-Division around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Detectives aren't sure if Jones was followed or if someone was waiting outside his house to ambush him.
Jones' wife was inside the house asleep with the couple's one year old daughter when she heard two men attacking her husband.
"At gunpoint, they tried to force him into his own house. Upon entering the house there was a struggle," says Sgt. Craig Clopton with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
During that struggle Jones was shot. He died there in the foyer of his home.
One of the suspects was also shot. He was found dead on the sidewalk across the street from the house with an AK-47 assault rifle beside him.
"It's sad. We're burying our children and it's not supposed to be this way" says Tia Dosewell a friend of the victim.
Investigators found the suspect's car a few streets over. It was parked in the driveway of a vacant house. Moments before Jones died he called his best friend since childhood Ronnie Ross. The call was made at 2:04 a.m.
"He didn't leave a message and I tried to call back like 5 times. I didn't get an answer" says Ross.

The shootings happened hours apart and in different areas.
One of the shootings happened at the Green Tree Place Apartments on Dunson Glen Drive near Darbydale Drive at about 11 p.m. Sunday.
"There happened to be two officers working an extra job here in uniform when they heard shots fired," said Janie Alvarez-Wagner of the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "They went toward the sound through the courtyard and happened to see two black males running towards them. The deputies ordered them to stop and that's when the deputies observed that the suspects had weapons."
One of the deputies fired six shots, wounding one of the suspects in the thigh.
The other suspect got away. A detailed description of him has not been released.
Deputies found three guns and a bag of marijuana at the scene.
Investigators said the gunshots the deputies heard were related to a home invasion, but no details about that have been released.
Deputies were also involved in a shooting on Village Bridge near Winter Blossom in northeast Harris County at about 10 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators said the deputies were following up on a case when something went wrong and a deputy shot a suspect.
The suspect was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital. His condition was not released.
The third shooting involved two off-duty Houston police officers who were working security at a nightclub on the North Freeway near Aldine Bender Road at about 2:45 a.m. Monday.
Police said a man pulled out a shotgun and pointed it at a vehicle another man was sitting inside.
The officers told the man to drop the gun, but he didn't, officials said.
Both officers fired and wounded the man an undisclosed amount of times.
The man was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
